Both Boisdales offer a blend of traditional and modern British cooking. Boisdale prides itself on the quality of the raw ingredients used in its kitchens, many of which are sourced directly from Scotland, including haggis, salmon, game, lobster, shellfish and cheese. Where possible, vegetables are from organic suppliers.

Both establishments offer a number of menus, ranging from bar food, through set price menus to full à la carte. David Morey, Head Chef at Boisdale of Belgravia and Alison Sewell, Head Chef at Boisdale of Bishopsgate bring their own individual touches to the Boisdale style.

Boisdale of Belgravia offers two set menus: The Flying Scotsman (available only at lunch time) at £14.00 for two courses; and The 1745 at £17.45 for two courses.

The À la Carte Menu specialises in the finest steaks from Scotland and dishes to please the carnivore with daily specials of fish, game, offal and seasonal food.

The Something Else menu is for those with a sweet tooth, a passion for savouries or a love of cheese and should not be missed.

A lighter Bar Menu features sandwiches, salads, tartines (on Poilâne bread) and the famous Macdonald Bar Burger with Bloody Mary Sauce.

Diners can mix and match from the various menus wherever they are eating in the establishment.
